Our Executive Team
Dr. Allen Menkin, Founder
Dr. Menkin has a BA from Drew University, an MS from Rutgers University, and went to medical school at Bowman Gray (Wake Forest.) His internship and residency were at NYU/Bellevue Hospital.
He has been an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at NYU, set up and directed a developmental disabilities center, helped initiate the first HMO in the state, set up and ran three IPAs, and served as a regional medical director for Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield. He practiced Pediatrics from 1973 until his retirement in 2015.
“Like most practicing physicians I had to contend with increasing costs and diminished reimbursement for much of my career. I founded Main Street Vaccines in 2000 to try and do something about it. Main Street’s primary purpose is to help doctors economically fulfill their mission of preventing disease by immunizing patients. Over time we have implemented a wide range of other cost saving programs. From the outset, we have been committed to CME support and charitable giving.”

Bill Smith joined Main Street Vaccines as Vice President in 2016. He has over 18 years of experience in the vaccine industry and has held key positions in corporate management, account management, and marketing.
